Another
travel blog? Yes! As I write this first post I am reflecting on why there are
so many travel blogs out there. It is quite simple…people LOVE to travel and
are enthusiastic about sharing their experiences. Travelling brings so much joy
to my husband and I, and has formed so many memories for us, that we are so
excited to share our thoughts, adventures, tips, and ideas with you.
About us:
My husband
(Richard) and I (Amrita) have been together for 15 years (high school
sweethearts) and married for 5 years now. While most of our friends are having
and thinking about babies, we are CONSTANTLY thinking about travel.
I had
travelled as a kid….Richard not so much. So when we took our first trip
together to the Dominican Republic in University, Richard was hooked. We
continuously share our hopes and dreams of travel and together we have been
making our dreams come true. With both of us being teachers, we are lucky to
have significant vacation time, however we do not have the luxury of time as a
student or someone who has taken a year or years off to see the world.
We are
likely very much like you. We have a full time job with an average income, a
starter home, and endless dreams to see the world. If you have someone you love
to travel with and you seek inspiration about how to do it, then welcome. We
